Why We Call Our Employees “Personal Assistants”
At HomeWell, our number one priority is the dignity of our clients. To encourage this, we don’t call our employees caregivers—we refer to them as Personal Assistants. The title itself lets the client know they are in charge of their own care, while gently reminding the Personal Assistant that it is their responsibility to assist, not to direct. We believe this creates a more harmonious and pleasant experience for all.
