Our successful franchisees have been from a variety of backgrounds; however, we believe there are certain skills that prove to be beneficial when running a HomeWell agency. We find our most successful owners have business management experience, resiliency and a focus on execution. It’s also interesting to note that some of our most successful owners have no previous health care experience. We believe if they possess the right skills for business ownership, we can teach them the industry.

Coupled with an owner’s business management experience, resiliency and openness to learn, this education leads to great success.
HomeWell is committed to providing our franchise owners with the tools and information needed to succeed from the start. During the initial months, our owners receive dedicated support from the Opening Services, Training, and Support teams. These teams guide our owners through important tasks needed to establish their business, gain industry knowledge, and prepare for a successful business opening. Our goal is to not only help our owners set expectations and begin navigating the journey into new business ownership, but to launch quickly and effectively with decreased days to the dollar. Our pre-opening support is divided into three key phases:
1. Pre-Training: Support with completing the tasks necessary to start a HomeWell franchise and receiving foundational home care and industry training.
2. Core Training: Five days of onsite comprehensive training that includes topics such as: the Franchisor/Franchisee relationship, an industry overview, HomeWell differentiators, navigating the health care maze, business ownership, management and organizational structure, talent management, care management, and sales and marketing.
3. Post-Training: Focus on getting our owners ready for launch.
Throughout the Pre- and Post-Training programs, our owners receive individual weekly support calls, group webinars and online training modules that educate on key topics relevant to running a home care agency.
The outlook for the senior care industry is very promising. We are seeing demand grow exponentially year-over-year and revenues for the global home health sector are projected to grow to $300 billion by 2020. HomeWell specifically is poised to meet this demand and our brand is positioned well for growth. In fact, in recent years we’ve seen record-setting growth, which has strengthened our national scale and presence. We are continuously investing in our brand, our service offerings, and owner support, resulting in strong brand equity for our franchisees.
